Customer Management

Customer management is a simple, straightforward process with PromoSoft, as we capture general information, billing and shipping addresses, and provide the ability to add internal notes to each customer record for future reference. 

When viewing a customer record, you can also see any orders placed in the past, or quotes prepared for that customer - including the ability to search, sort, and filter.

Every order has a customer record attached to it, so creating customers is always the first step, unless the customer is placing a repeat order. To save time, the system offers a copy button to duplicate the original order which can be edited as needed.

Payment terms can also be set for each customer, with 'Prepay' requiring them to pay for the order before it goes into production, or 'Net' which means an invoice will be sent based on whatever net terms have ben established with that customer. 

Setting the customer as tax exempt is also an option, just a simple toggle will ensure they do not get charged sales tax when making payment.
